Truecrypt newbie question

Hello all

I have the following :

1. One Internal 500GB HDD
2. Two External 1 TB HDD

What would be the best way/method to encrypt the two external HDDs? The encrypted file container isn't an option to me as the file size will be bigger than the size of my internal HDD. The two external HDDs are currenly loaded with information which I would like to encrypt.

Should I choose " Encrypt a non system partition/drive"

Thanks

Yes moving the data to the internal 500GB drive then back to the external drives once they're encrypted would work, if you have enough space on the 500GB drive. You could also move the data from one 1TB external to the other and encrypt them one at time. Keep in mind that whatever you put temporarily on the unencrypted drive will still be there even after you delete it. You could use something like Eraser to security delete it.
