Truecrypt and dual boot issues

I have a dual boot system, running Win XP on one disk as the primary, and Win 7 on another disk as the secondary. Recently I installed Truecrypt on the primary disk, and encrypted the primary hard drive, without touching the second drive. I made sure to select the appropriate dual boot options during the encryption dialogue.

Now I can no longer boot from my secondary drive Windows 7 after entering the password in the Truecrypt boot loader. I get a message that the Windows 7 installation needs to be repaired. What gives?
