I am currently looking for a mid-tower case to replace my old Enlight.
I am in particular interested in the toolless case.

Any suggestions?

Evercase 42xx series or Athenatech 747 series. Evercase has a slight advantage as their hard drive cages have rubber isolators if the reseller specifies them (IOW, they are optional). If you're willing to go a little more money, then the Athenatech 800 series or the Enermax or Aspire/Turbocase that are based on the same design. And a case that Key Power sells even has toolless mobo mounts! Don't know why no one else has picked up on that idea yet.
. And for the top rung, there is the Kingmax 424 series...

Has anyone gave the ThermalTake XaserIII Skullz case a try? Isn't is just a silverstone case imitation?

IF you can find a place that selles them with the isolators, OR if you know a place that has shoulder screws that will work (i you do, I'd love to know, as I ca hop over to Ace and get gromets that work).
However, Antec's SLK3700 cases come with them.
I havent used the Athenatch case, bu it looks similar, only slightly defficient in air flow (the 747).

SLK uses 5" drive slides, don't they still need to be mounted to the drive w/ screws? IAC, the 3700AMB and others based on the same design (like the Compucase 6A series, mwave.com) are among the best for cooling and quietude. A handful of thumb screws can make them mostly toolless.
. McMaster-Carr.com sells shouldered machine screws and they also sell PVC "Vibration damping Grommets and Bushings" (9311K51, etc.) that are more effective than rubber grommets and PVC fan mounting pins (5801K6, etc.).
. But if your Evercase doesn't come with the isolators, you can order them direct from Evercase in sets of 8, but your case needs to have come with the new design hard drive bracket with the cutouts for them.

. And I was just sitting here thinking what I could use besides nearly $2. each shoulder screws from M-C, and I came up with this idea - #6 brass mobo standoffs (cyberguys.com - they call 'em "coarse")! Ponder it... The "shoulder" would be 1/4" and variable above that using a #6 screw in the top of it and a washer if nec. Thread length is just right for HDs.

Xaser III. I have it and it's a good case, with plenty of cooling options, nice layout. The only instance you need a screwdriver is to screw the MoBo in.
