Friend of mine turned me on to this kind of fun game over at another msg board and I think it's kind of fun. See if you guys can tell which of these is true and which isn't.
1. A man in Alaska loved to race snowmobiles, but was unsure of how best to increase the horsepower on his snowmobile. Well, one day he came across the idea of attaching a canister of ether to his engine. The boost was incredible and boy did he ever fly!!
2. A stuntman down in Florida took his snowmobile to the beach one day and ran out onto the water and not only stayed afloat, but ran around the lake for a good 10 minutes during an intermission at a boat race and stayed afloat the whole time!!
3. A kid in new hampshire took his brand new snowmobile out in the snow for the first time and rode around on it for hours. Coming back from his day trip as night was beginning to set, he was struck by a deer that accidentily ran out in front of him and was killed.
Which is true, which is not? I'll share the answer in a couple hours.
EDIT: Here's the answer! The true answers are 1 and 2.
#1 is true because there was a racer in Alaska that did use Ether as a booster for his Snowmobiles, but it was too hard on them and after wrecking several engines gave up on the practice.
#2 is true. Watch some real tv reruns. You'll see the pictures for yourself.
#3 is nearly true, but the boy actually died hitting a low tree branch. It was his dad that was hit by the deer and killed when he tried to go for help.
Yeah, I know. Trick question.
Well, thanks for playing!
