I found out about these fantastic chips about 2 months ago and would like to share their goodness with you. They are crisps with little bits of pistachio in them. They are fantastic.

I have seen them at the local Walmart in the cracker aisle.

They also make almond chips and some others as well.

Personally i like the pistachio chips quite a bit :)

Edited, now with less racism! :D

These sound delicious! I am going to have to check Walmart next time I am up. Hopefully they are available in Canada!

Yeah, about pistachios.......

A California company is recalling 2 million pounds of pistachios distributed nationwide after testing found them to be contaminated with salmonella. The Food and Drug Administration is advising consumers to avoid eating all pistachios and foods containing them until it can confirm which pistachios might be affected.

Salmonella, smalmonella. I'll still eat it.

True North products in general are great, albeit, a little expensive. (Nuts are why they're expensive of course, but damn, $9 for a small bag?)

You're so brave. You obviously have never had salmonela poisoning before. It's a great way to lose LOTS of weight AND wish you were dead at the same time.

I hope you never get to experience it oh brave one ...

Ah, I heard that it was Kraft products that were affected by the salmonella. I live near Chicago, so I got them at my local Dominick's (Albertson's to the rest of the world I think), but the first time I got them was at WalMart.

Now I need to break the news to my wife that we both might be getting a visit from salmonella man. :(

Haha. I was thinking the same thing. Isn't every aisle in Walmart the "cracker" aisle?
