But my ultimate car is the Aston Martin Vanquish, with the Stage 4 F1 transmission. Never have I driven anything so sexy that I would have traded my wife for it. Nor have I driven anything that would go from 0-150 so damn fast!
Who can go fast with 90HP?

A go kart could, or a small motorcycle. 😀

😉

I'd have to say a 2002/2002tii or 320i(1st gen)..

2002's are great little sporty cars. They don't have a whole lot of power, but when you take them around corners you know that was what the car was designed for. Same for the 320i, though the e21 is a bit more bloated than the e9, with after market suspension, it makes up for it.

I'm talking about old sk00l BMWs btw. I have an 82 320i. Not fast, not fancy, but fun as all get out to drive around corners really fast. Up windy mountains works as well.

350z 🙂

Sadly, a lot of yuppies (at least here in LA) do drive this car.. they will all be gone soon, though.. when their leases are up

However, the 350Z really is an enthusiast's car. It has 35 years of history with tons of car clubs across the nation devoted to the Z cars and its heritage

- Any old VW. A1/A2 GTI being my favorite.
- Crown Vic Police Interceptor edition
- A dirty 4 wheel drive pickup that can tackle a trail
- Impala SS (B body)
- Buick Roadmaster (same car as Impala, even had the LT1), preferably tuned for horsepower
- Any late 70's to mid 80's American land barge.

crown vic? What the hell are you smoking...

Of course! That's a car with real road presence. What would you think if I pulled up behind you in this? (minus the light bar) Now how can anyone calling themselves an enthusiast not love this machine?

I'd think you're driving awefully fast for being 85 years old? In those speeds even the slightest bump can break your hip....

My roommate has a grand marquiz and those things are just horrible The seats are two couch mattreses in an L shape. The steering wheel also needs handles like this so you can throw it all the way to starboard when making right turns, because the steering has no feedback what so ever.

It doesn't have to be a sports car to be loved by an "enthusiast."

Except there is nothing to be enthusiastic about. Crown vic is body-on-frame boat bought only by retirees that worry about their fragile pelvis.

What? You're just downright trying to incite an angry response. The fact that you can't see the attraction to the Crown Vic shows that you are not an enthusiast.
