True Detective Season 3...Anybody Watch?

So a new season of True Detective started. The first two episodes dropped on Sunday. It was an OK start, don't think it will be as good as the first season though.
 
Oh damn, didn't know it actually started. Only saw the ad during football on Sunday, and assumed it was for later release. This really came out of nowhere (I haven't had HBO for about 2 years, so no access to their advertising).

I guess I will wait until I re-sub for GoT final season...maybe.

I liked S2 for what it was. It wasn't as good as s1, but it was its own thing.
 
I have them saved to watch. Trying to get to them, but there's just too much on my "to watch" list right now.
Season 1 was so fantastic, but I can't imagine them ever recapturing that lightning in a bottle.
