True crime books written by or about hitmen?

I'm looking for any book written by or about the life of a hitman.. any ideas? Nothing goofy like "confessions of a dangerous mind" - just something real, down to earth, and informative.. Writing a story about a hitman and would love to get into the mind of one- what does a hitman do when he's not on the job, what makes someone pick that lifestyle, etc...
