Truck VIN number

Does anyone know of a free site where you can type in your vehicle vin number and find out the specs on you vehicle? I just got a 4x4 F150 with no manual, was looking for vehicle specs and capacities on this truck.

Post the VIN and I'll copy and paste it from a site that I have access to. Sorry, I can't reveal the site because I use it at work, but it's password protected anyway.

PM me the VIN if you'd like but VIN's are public information anyway.

Shouldn't this be stuff that you check out BEFORE you buy it?

Try Googling the VIN. You might be surprised, sometimes you'll find a link to info about your vehicle.

All google searches take you to sites that tell you how many owners and if it was in a wreak or flood damage. I was just looking for capacities and the sort until the dealer gets me a manual. Not knowing the gas tank capacity to me is no reason to not buy the vehicle.

Yeah, sometimes you'll actually find a link to pictures of your vehicle, with your wife screwing some guy inside. Or maybe it's just my vehicle...
