Truck repair: step 1 of many is complete.

Ok, so I got the brake lights/reverse lights/turn signals working. Was a quick $3 fix, but it's a start

This is probably a dumb question, but how did you get the truck if the brake lights/reverse lights/turn signals didn't work?

Assuming it runs, wouldn't that have been a bit dangerous to drive in? Also, if it was towed to you, don't they need to hook up their lights to your truck so the people behind the truck know what the tow truck is doing? Or was it a flatbed?

I see cars with no working brake lights every day! And hardly any of them get hit

Oh, tow trucks have a harness with magnetic-base lights they stick to cars they're towing.

I drove it illegally. I didn't get any tickets nor in any accidents so it worked out OK.

That is crazy.....it should only reply once regardless of how many times you hit the dam button. I was just pissed that it sat there and didn't even respond to my clicks. It must have been suckering me in for a huge multiple post.

Happened to me a couple years ago here....didn't seem like the post went thru. Later, I found I had committed like a 45x post
