I have an SUV/Truck jack that just doesn't get the job done. It can lift my Toyota Tundra off the ground barely, but at that point the back end of the jack is off the ground (yikes).

I'm looking for a high quality jack that will be able to handle the Tundra. Does anyone have any recommendations? Price is not an issue to a point, as I am willing to pay a little more for peace of mind.

Why is the back end of the jack off the ground?

I got my jack at Costco. It's great, but HEAVY (which I assume is typical of quality jacks?). 3.5 ton. I love it. Much better than the Walmart POS I used to have. ~$80. I've never jacked up a truck with it, but if it can lift a car high enough for me to get under it, then it can lift a truck to the same height.

I can get under my truck without a jack. Sometimes you need to get the tires off the ground. :p

I have a 3-ton. My truck is tall so I use wooden blocks to help lift it higher. Works great for me. I don't use jackstands, either. I'm probably gonna end up flattened one day.

Dude you just need to use blocks of wood unless you some some pos walmart jack. Never trust a jack to hold your vehicle without jackstands/blocks of wood. I've heard about too many people getting killed from falling cars.

I bought a 6 ton jack and jack stands for my F250 PSD for less than $100.

A HiLift will definitely do the job. If you have a Harbor Freight Tools store there, they also carry a jack similar to the HiLift.

For my '06 Tundra DC, I got a jack at Sam's club and some taller jack stands at Harbour Freight.
