Troubleshooting; can't get out of VGA mode

Just put together the system below. Installed Win XP x64.

I can boot up fine in Safe Mode (with VGA). From there, I've updated everything I can think of (latest video drivers, mboard drivers, all x64). That all seems to work fine.

Whenever I try to boot normally, before I get to the login screen, my monitor goes black and loses the signal (monitor light goes from green to flashing yellow).

In VGA safe mode, I can even get higher resolutions if I uninstall the latest nVidia drivers.

Any ideas? Troubleshooting tips?
