Troubleshoot this eMachines M6810

I haven't installed any new programs, but I did have a driver related problem. I incountered a BSOD while trying to install the latest drivers. I restarted and tried again, but got nothing but errors and problems. The Audio device is the "Realtek AC '97".

Could someone give me a link to the EXACT audio drivers I'm supposed to use and how to get rid of the old ones?

I haven't made an BIOS changes.

I also noticed that when an exclamation message pops up, the laptop beeps, like a POST beep.

Thanks for the help so far.

You can try to uninstall the current drivers, then delete the install directory, and finally reinstalling the driver from your restore dvd. You might also want to search the official emachines thread here or search the support section on notebookforums

Hope this helps. 🙂

BTW: The official emachines thread does have links for drivers and bios updates.
