Troubles with Esetroot..

Im running RH 7.1 and am having problems getting Esetroot to load a background image (.jpg). When I run: Esetroot /home/user/background.jpg it returns: Esetroot: Unable to load image file "/home/user/background.jpg". I checked permissions on the .jpg.. looks fine. Still pretty new with linux... any help or suggestions would be great!
