I have a problem, my 4024c has a messed up config and i need to factory reset it.
Trouble is after a brief boot the text turns to garble.

This is what i get

Flash file system check in progress...
Checking root file system... OK
Performing file consistency check...
Done.

How do i break it, What is the combo to break. i have tried ctrl-(every character) esc the break key. none worked

The cable is new, so i don't think it's that.
I need to get into the switch, Please help it's driving me nuts.

Thanks

It is a Omnistack XYLAN made by Alcatel-lucent.

I have even tried a ip scanner and there doesn't seem to be one. Last time i used it, it was on a subnet. 192.168.1.? (I think?)
but i really need to get it working again, I have looked inside and there is no visable battery or bios style reset.

Thanks
