I recently reformatted and switched to Windows Me from Win 2k. Now ZoneAlarm is blocking the Ident requests from IRC servers. Here is the alert:
The firewall has blocked Internet access to irc.prison.net (206.251.7.30) (TCP Port 44754) from your computer.
Program: MIRC32.EXE
The port number seems to always be random and high.
I also get this everytime I send an ICQ message:
The firewall has blocked Internet access to xx.xx.xxx.xx (TCP Port 4369) from your computer.
Program: ICQ Applicationnull
This port number seems to be in the 43xx range everytime.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Could it be my ISP? This never happened in Win 2k.
