Trouble with tt BigWater radiator

I am having some trouble, my case is the Z-Alien it has a 12cm fan on the back, and it mounts just fine. the problem is that with it mounted i cant shut the side panel on the case. i was thinking about just snipping a slot where the radiator is in the way, but maybe somebody else has a better idea? and I cant mount it on the inside because of case design. in case it prooves to be any help, my motherboard is the Asus A8V, Tt silent purepower 480w butterfly PSU. I would appreciate any help as soon as possible, i plan on using this computer for college this semester.
Thanks,

Hmm, perhaps you could mount it on the outside of the case? It is hard to tell whether it will fit in front of the front intake fan; is that possible? You would most likely have to mount your HDDs in the 5.25" bays to get the space. You probably don't want to, but it looks like the only way to get this mounted is to mod the case a bit.

As a last functional resort, you could run your tubing through a PCI slot and have the rad sitting completely outside the case. Not pleasing to the eye at all, but it will work.

I think the best idea though is to make it fit inside; the top of the case is a popular place. This would require completely disassembling the case and cutting the appropriate-sized holes. A hole in the side with the side of the rad sticking out would just look a little too ghetto to me.

He's already putting it outside the case, where the 120mm fan sits...

Have you thought about cutting a blow hole in the top of the case and mount it that way? As long as you have enough clearance above the case you should be fine...

i think the easiest way would be to cut a big notch on the flap of the side panel(where the thumb screws hold the panel to the frame) , but this case is giving me more and more trouble. its a nice case but maybe i should just get a thermaltake shark case since its designed for the bigwater. i just noticed the removable hard drive bay is so close to the side that it cant take the sata cables from a hdd. theres jsut not enough clearance, it bends the panel an inch up.
