Just got a new Asus DCU2 780 to replace my Radeon 6950 the other night. I installed it, downloaded the drivers, uninstalled CCC, but still was having problems in game. Went so far as to format both of my hard drives to remove any trace of CCC, and give the 780 a fresh start, and I'm still having issues.
I just got D3 installed again for a test run to see if it was fixed, and it isn't. The problem is in game the resolution, I want to say, is very poor. The text is blocky and not sharp, the character models are blocky and not sharp, but other parts of the game kinda seem alright, like a teleport portal looks almost like it should.
In game the graphics are all set to what they should be. Nvidia's Geforce Experience says the game is optimized, yet it still looks terrible. There's almost a disconnect between what the card and game is telling, and what I'm seeing, it's very hard to decribe.
I even tried to upload a screenshot that i took, and when I copied it into paint, the screenshot looked completely normal, with none of the problems I'm describing. I'm not very technically savvy, but I am completely dumbfounded right now.
Is there something I'm missing? Is there more to Nvidia cards than just basically plug in and play?
