trouble with TFC, CS playing on net.

I just got a new isp. 56k connection.. i go to play TFC and when I refresh all the games, I get a lot of games that say thye have a really good ping. then I refresh the game, and the ping sucks. I find a game that says I have a ping around 400 and join it. get in there and the ping is aroun 4000, and it comes up saying, warning cl_packetflush. anyone have any advice?? I could get better ping with my old 28.8 isp....

any and all help to increase my game play would be helpful.

Hmm...check out: http://tfc.pcgame.com/

On the left sidebar under Console Help, there is a section called tweaking. There's script help there to try to get max FPS and lowest lag.

Also, I suggest you get GameSpy. It manages the server lists better.

thanks... but what do I want?? also, I don't think it is something with the game. worked fine on my 28.8 isp I had. also when I connect I get a lot of servers from the east coast. and I'm on the west coast.
