:disgust:I bought this board because it was rated really good. Tried four diferent sticks of ddr ram would not boot. All I got was a memory error. can any one help I am really mad because I upgraded from an Asus a7v kt133a that had memory problems with an athlon 1.4ghz 133bus. Could not be ran at 133 bus. So I decided to try the dragon out and no such luck. Can anyone tell me if thier anyone out thier having the same problem. I would like to get this mother board running. But I think it is DOA.

I had no such problems with that board.

Memory problems with both boards is suspicious especially given that you have tried 4 different sticks. I would be looking elsewhere for the problem. First I would consider what other cards/components were in the other machine that are not in that one that could be causeing the problem. Second, I would remove everything leaving only keyboard, mouse, vid card and memory and see if it works. Then add stuff back one at a time until you find the problem.

What is the error message? The one thing in common that you have is the processor correct? I might start looking there.

Already did all that and it is a memory error.
Soyo A7V Dragon Plus
30 gig maxtor hard drive 7200 rpm
visiontek geforce 2 mx 400
ess 56k modem
tdk 16/10/40 cdrw
sound blaster live sound

I just talked to a guy from socket A web site and he said it could be the memory or power supply.
So I ordered 128meg of DDR from crucials web site.
