Trouble with new LG 50PC5D

Turned on the TV and I hear a slight buzz and several thin black horizontal lines in the middle of the screen. After a couple of mins, the buzz fades away and the whole screen is awash in fuzzy colors. TV is connected via component from Comcast HD receiver. Same results from different video inputs.

Any ideas? Return or call service center?
 
If you just bought it from a local store, return it to the store and ask them nicely to plug in and test the new replacement before you take it out of the store. They may or may not actually test it for you in the store, but they definitely should give you a new one.
