Trouble with NetMD MZ-N510 Type S

I'm having a problem with the MD disc and the software that came with it SonicStage 1.5. When I first got it, I recorded a bunch of songs onto the disk that was included and played them back with no problem... But now that I erased the songs and try to record new ones, it won't accept them. I have been able to record a single song but when it continues with the rest of the songs, it says that there's not enough space on the disk, or the media is invalid... even though I erased all the songs and initialized the disc. Sometimes it will cause my MD player not to be detected (after the error occurs, the MD status is "Device not connected") Has anyone had this problem??? Any suggestion is appreciated...
