Trouble with my burning programs

I can't get my burning programs to burn a dvd. Niether dvd decrypter or nero will burn. I reformatted my hdd with ghost When I try and burn it comes up with a message that says cannot write medium..incompatable format.

any ideas....I am using the same medium that I have always used

I'm not familiar w/ Ghost, but it sounds like you might need to use the windows update. Maybe you are missing something that Nero uses, (i.e.- .NET 2.0 or service pack 2)?
