i have an emachine with a msi 845gvm-l (model #6714). i want to flash the bios so i can change the fsb, i've tried the live update 3 and going off a floppy, neither one worked.
when i did the live update it said that it made updates (it didn't). when i tried using the award bios flash utility it told me that my new bios didn't match the lock string, no matter which bios i tried (i even tried the bios' of a couple other mobo's that are variants of mine).
