trouble with fan

Hello ppl.

Whenever I plug the fan into the PSU socket, it kills the power supply and my comp doesn't boot. It was working fine earlier but then I opened the case to change the jumpers on my hard drive and when I tried to connect the fan back, my comp wouldn't boot.

I have 2 wires on my fan (black and red) i tried different combos but nothing seems to work.

any ideas?
