Trouble with boot-up today

So tonight I boot up my computer and everything was normal, it was displaying the voltages as it usually does but the "VBAT" voltage was blank/blinking and it just sat there and wouldn't enter windows. I manually restarted the computer and everything was fine and my VBAT read 3.89 and went straight to windows. Is this anything to worry about?
Not sure if it matters but it was very cold in my room at that time.
biostar 790GX am2+
amd phenom x5 9850
2 2GB ram, dual channel
corsair 600w PSU
HD 4850

Offhand, I'd say the VBAT being blank could indicate the battery on your mobo is probably going dead, or the cold temps caused the battery voltage to get a bit low/errornous reading. I'd keep an eye on it, but I wouldn't really worry.

If you want to verify, you can always unplug your system from the wall for a few seconds, press the power button, then plug it back in. If you loose your time/BIOS settings, then the battery/battery socket is kaput.

I'll give that a try right now. I was thinking about upgrading me CPU but kinda scared cuz im not sure if its a warning sign that something is going out

Well I tried what you said, but It didn't erase my time or bios settings. On another forums someone told me that it could be a bad solder on the mobo and it will only get worse
