I have set up the array for the Nvidia chipset in the bios and it reports a healthy stripe in bios load... but doesn't windows need a driver for the nforce chipset? My mobo didn't come with a diskette... website says nothing and the raid array is not recognized by windows but as two seperate drives...

Part of the answer might be on page 81 of your manual. The preceeding pages talk about array setup, you might look at them to ensure that you didn't leave out a step on setting up the array.

Sure thing, looks like it'll be a heckuva rig :D Interesting case you got there, I remember Anand reviewing it and how it has extra PCI slots... do you use those for audio gear or something?

Case rocks. Its really deep and wide. Extra PCI openings handy for extra USB & 1394 & audio stuff. Thanks for the help... lol you would think Gigabyte would send you a driver disk for the price they sell this stuff for
