Trouble Updating e-mail in Profile

I am having trouble everytime I try to update my e-mail in my forum profile. Everytime I enter the new e-mail the thing will shoot back at me saying that I have been forbiden from posting and replying in the forums. I press the provided hyperlink "Back", login again and change things like allowing PMs and letting my profile be visible and it works. Here's the best part. Everytime I enter the new e-mail I get a new password sent to the new address that is supposed to allow me back in to change my password back. The new password does not work. I have to use my original one. I originally just e-mailed the Mods the story but never heard back. That was over a week ago. I have to say that I am getting a bit irratated. I hope the Mods read this and fix the problem if one exists on their end. In the mean time does anyone have any suggestions?

What email address are you putting in? It sounds like you're putting in a forbidden email address in your profile, like a Hotmail or an AOHELL addy. It still does send a password to that addy but it won't work. (I found out the hard way once with a AOHELL addy)

same thing happened to me when I first registered and I don't know wky, I think it might be the city your from or something like that.

So should I PM a mod about this? I am hesitant because I feel that it may upset the mod, or may never get seen due to the large amount of PMs they must get. Any suggestions? Mods how do you feel about that?
