Trouble updating AMD drivers on hd4200 igp

Not sure if this should go here or with motherboards, but anyway here's my issue.

I have a gigabyte 785g board with the onboard hd4200 graphics. Whenever I try to update the drivers from the ones that came on the cd with the board the computer just restarts mid install.

I've tried updating with the original drivers installed and I've tried a uninstalling all the display drivers and replacing them with fresh drivers from AMD's site. Both methods the computer restarts in the same place mid install.

Anyone know whats going wrong or what I can try to fix it?

I had the same problem. I RMA'd my video card and tried to run on the onboard, and it would BSoD about 10 seconds after hitting the desktop. I ended up reformatting, and a clean driver install afterwards fixed it.

Hyperlite, are your running that in Hybrid crossifre? I have the same board and was going to get a 4670 for it. Does it work well?
