Any recomendations for a trouble ticket trackign software package for a medium-small office of 50-60 people?
The method our IT dept is using now sucks... and I'm hell-bent on getting something good in place.

See if you can locate an older copy of Perldesk, it would be perfect for a small office. The older version of Perldesk (before it changed to deskpro) was free and can still be used

Deskpro is better then Perldesk, we use it at work -- in any given day there is normally 400-500 tickets that come in, the database it well over 1 gig and it is handling it fine

yeah I really dont need anything THAT robust... just something simple to easily track the issues and projects that are open.

We use Track-It! from Blue Ocean. I think they might have been bought by someone else, not too sure, I haven't looked in a long time though. It might be alittle too robust for your needs, we have almost 1000 people at our company and generate 100-200 support requests a day.
