Trouble sleeping lately

For about two weeks, I havn't been sleeping well, I just seem to be tossing and turning, and can never get comfortable enough to sleep, and once I sleep, its pretty light. I didn't even get sleep this morning, I just toss and turned in bed for a couple of hours. Eventually I got sick of it, and got up. I now must work an 8 hour shift without any sleep. Loading myself up on some coffee before work and hoping I can make the day.

I'm sick of this, I can understand one night every once and a while, but it seems to me for the past two weeks I cannot sleep. I stay away from caffinee at night.

Is there anything you guys do that helps you sleep?

Go out and play for a couple of hours. Else play squash for an hour or two.
That will tire you enough and you will get a good sleep.

I try to tire myself out as much as possible by going to the gym for 1 1/2 to 3 hours. That just might do the job.

Also before sleeping try thinking of something that won't get you too excited, or bore you. I usually try making up a plot to some movie, which makes my mind wander, and before I know it I'm waking up in the morning.

Its generally recommended that about 30 minutes of day of exercise well allow a person to sleep better. Try grabbing some headphones or a wife/gf/female friend/friend and go for a walk. DO NOT take headphones along when you are walking with the wife/gf/female friend/friend.😱

Oddly enough, several of my coworkers and I have been having the same problem. We were debating the cause when a girl walked by and said "there's an earthquake coming" and walked away. :Q

Yeah, that helped me sleep...
