I just got Wingate 4.01 and I'm having some problem getting it to do anything. I setup the server and added a user, but when I try to connect with the clients, I get no response. Any ideas?

Thanks guys!

btw: Everything on the network works fine other than Wingate. I was previously using ICS with success.

Try a clean install, first server then a client, making sure to change nothing, let installing do all settings automatically. It worked for me and I am using a diamond HomeFree Phoneline kit. After you get it working, then you can consider adding more clients. Dunno if it will help but try it.

Could you exchange it for WinProxy from Ositis?

Maybe not an option, I found WinProxy easy as heck to setup and their website is awesome for trouble shooting and additional FAQs.

Check the WinGate website for a FAQ. I think they have one, but I looked at it a couple years ago when I did my investigation.

This info may or may not help, but something to consider.
The only configuration issue I had to worry about on the earlier version of WinProxy was that each PC had to be configured with an internal IP and the proxy given the primary IP. Then each client had to point to the primary IP for everything. This configuration is not necessary with the newer version of WinProxy.
