Trouble printing from client machine to server printer.

I have everything running correctly such as internet sharing and LAN gaming using Sygate. When trying to print from client machine to the server to which a cheapo Epson Stylus Color 400 is connected. About 30% of a test page will print and then it will run every sheet of paper through without printing. About 30 seconds later an error message appears: "A printer timeout error has occurred. Please increase printer timeout settings." Nowhere can I find what number
to enter. It was at 15. I have tried 60 and 100 and get the same problem.....Any ideas?
 
Drivers, drivers, drivers....Your getting printer timeouts because the OS is not recognizing the messages coming back from the printer. 100% drivers.
 
r u trying to print through sygate?

maybe u could enable microsoft's printer/file sharing and print through that instead by having the printer shared
 
No I'm not printing through Sygate.
I just thought the info might help.
I'll check/update drivers.
