Trouble installing K7T Pro audio

I have been unable to install the audio on my K7T pro system. I loaded the Via 4 in 1 drivers, then installed the audio drivers from the installation CD. However, Windows 98 SE insists the audio device is not properly installed. After Windows attempts to install the audio, I get prompted to insert the Windows CD but Windows can not find numerous .ax files??? I downloaded the latest audio drivers from the Microstar site and that did not help.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Or perhaps someone has a suggestion.

I had a similiar problem. In the user guide or directions, I remember reading that you had to install the audio drivers in a specific sequence in realation to the rest of the drivers, 4 in 1, etc. I did it wrong and the audio would not work. I threw in a sound card, disabled the on board audio and called it a day.
