Trouble installing D-Link NIC on Win2k pro

I am having trouble installing my D-Link DFE 530TX NIC on Win2k pro SP1. Windows detects the card, finds the appropriate driver (\winnt\inf\netvt86.inf), but when I tell it to "Finish" it fails, saying it can't find the file specified. The .inf file exists in the \inf directory and seems to be fine. I had a friend send me a copy of that file just to be sure, but it didn't help.

The D-Link page says to use the built-in Win2k driver...

Any ideas?
