Trouble Installing 7900GTX

I cant seem to get the 7900GTX to go far enough forward to fit into the pci-e slot. Is there a guide for doing this?

This is my first build and I really need help.... The card will not go far enough forward to fit into the pci e slot...

Push damn you, PUSH!
Maybe the metal bracket is hitting something at the back and not going into the hole.

dont listen to this guy, dont push. It should go in easy. If its not going in, check your motherboard placement. You dont notice that you placed it wrong on the tray until you put in the video card, and oh, its not fitting right.

I really dont get what your problem is though, is the card ending up too far from the mounting plates, or too close to them, when you sit it into the slot... Because its not your mobo... its your chassis, i hope you know that.

That would be your metal bracket not fitting correctly, happens to me all the time. Try to grab hold of the video port from the back of your case and wiggle it in, that side first. Then the rest of the card should go in smoothly.
