Chicago Obama Voters Unhappy With First Four Years

Sounds as though Chicago voters are smarter than Detroit voters. They're figuring out that the party that purports themselves to be the answer to their problems is not the answer, it's the problem.

The people are always smarter than politician's give them credit for. We're six days away from changing the direction of the country. Here's to hoping it's a long reign.

An obvious shill piece, since in order to get the opinion of the average Crook county voter you'd need to conduct a seance.

A video and my opinion based on decades of observations - nothing more.

Detroit has been under Democrat rule for 50 years and it looks like a war zone. But the misery has been equally redistributed. :D

No party is going to do much to help the impoverished and the ghettos in Chicago. It's even more laughable if anyone thinks Republicans will do anything for them. Nothing will get better until the education system is improved and the majority of the residents in those areas actually begin to care about improving themselves as well. The situation is terrible but to use it as an excuse to kill each other it isn't.

I think this is a fair point. What we don't have is a controlled experiment, however. San Francisco is a democratic city too and has been for at least 50 years and while it's not perfect it's not as bad as Detroit, I wouldn't think.

But there is little doubt in my mind that liberal government should prove it can be effective. That and not lies is how you earn trust. Perhaps the Sandy response will show some of that.

Last night I watched Colbert speak of the wisdom of Romney's plan to return Fema to a state that just had it's infrastructure washed out to sea. The conservative need for ego that I built this doesn't do so good when what you built is destroyed by catastrophe. Maybe if more conservatives got to experience being islands in the sea after a storm, we would get fewer of them at the polls.

The auto bailout is likely the reason Detroit is happy.

Send several billion to Chicago and then listen to them sing.
