I have a modem that i had stored away in one of my cupboards thats full of computer junk and I don't know what the manufacturer is or anything else......and I need to find drivers so this can be installed on WindowsME. If anyone knows any way to help or if there is a generic modem driver for windowsME that would be great.

thx, hubbs

Have you tried it? If it's plug n play it might get picked up by the OS and install the proper driver for it.
Either that or look for the fcc number on the pcb and see if you can google that over the net.

Examine the PCB. Look for the FCC number and then do a search for it in this Federal database:

http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid/

It should, at the minimum, let you know which manufacturer produced the card. From there, you can find whatever support site they current have.
