Trouble hosting CoH server

Im trying to host a Company of Heroes game. My friend cant connect. He says in the ping section theres a red x for me and my server. So we flipped, have him host. Same thing/ Whats the problem?

Linksys WRK54g router
I have both the 6112 UDP and 30260 ports set to opened in my router (dynamic ip if that affects anything/also i opened them in the port forwarding section of my router)
Windows Firewall disabled
ZoneAlarm has CoH allowed for everything
 
You might need to enable your specific pc as the DMZ host on the router, giving you full access to the internet (and visa-versa).
 
Enabling DMZ did not fix the problem.

Just noticed, that on xfire that the "Send File" option is grayed out if I try to send something to the friend. Its an option for every else of my buddies, but not him. He reports the same phenomana.
 
I think I may have a lead, investingating the Xfire problem has led me to find out that I am using a "Port-Restricted Cone NAT" and he has a "Symmetric NAT". You think this could be it?
