Have an Nt 4.sp6 doain @work. Can not get my win2k machine (or a couple of others) to log on to the domain and run a couple of scripts. I can access the enitre netowrk and all coputers if I put the domain name in as workgroup, but when I try to set it up to log on to domain it gives me the error that that credential supplied conflict with an exisiting set of credentials. What am I doing wrong? Appreciate if someone could point me in right direction. Thanx!

From the 2000 PC, change to a workgroup not in your system (make up a workgroup name you know that no PC is named and that is not the domain name). Accept the changes. You need to reboot.

Then change back to the domain.
When you attempt to change back to the domain from the 2000 PC, you should see a popup window telling you that an Administrator needs to add the PC to the domain. If you have Admin rights on the NT4 Server, type your Admin User Name and your password to verify that the 2000 PC can join the domain. Accept the changes and then reboot.

Logon normally. (Both the PC and users to logon need to be members of the domain.)

Well, that wasn't exactly it, BUT it did point me to look in the right place. Silly me, I still had drives mapped before trying to log into the domian. Disconnecteds them and boom, no problem!
Thanx for the help 😀
