Trouble getting system to boot *SOLVED*

'm having trouble turning on a pentium based system that is the AT form factor. I've taken the computer out of the case and have it sitting on cardboard. It's more like LPX but anyways I have a PSU hooked up (from another system) and I turn it on but I hear this buzzing type sound when I turn the system on. I'm not sure what to do..

Edit, its a sound coming from the motherboard speaker. I'm not sure if it's an error message or what. The motherboard has built in video so thats not the problem. I have no devices hooked up, I have nothing on the IDE or FDD controllers.

Update: System turns on and I hear the speaker for less then a second and it goes away but no video on the screen.

The single speaker beep you are hearing is the POST clear signal, indicating
everything is working.

Without having a floppy or hd connected you should recieve multiple beeps.

Try clearing the CMOS (remember to unplug the POWER Cord)
Leave it clear for 5-10 minutes.

Got the system to work but I'm now having problems getting another pentium system running. I get no video on boot up and the only resposne I get is the keyboard lights flash all together for a second. This system is as well an LPX system.

Fan hooked up to the motherboard doesn't spin, still have no idea if the system is dead or not.

You say "solved" but didn't post how. The forum is about posting answers to problems so others might benefit. Just saying "Solved" doesn't help anyone. So, what did you end up doing?
