trouble getting hotspot connected BSOD

TRIEd MAny diferent things. nothing. gets to SSID list, but AS SOON AS i am about to get internet connection -- BOOM --
BSOD🙁. when not trying to establish internet connection or in the SSID SECtion, no problems and no BSOD's

Might help if you described your "soyo computer" a little better. Isn't this some sort of Win9x / 98 "retro computer"? On ancient parts?

For something that ancient, I would use a Linksys wireless 802.11g USB dongle, at the most. Better yet, just use the board's ethernet port, if it has one, and get an older 802.11n router, and install DD-WRT, and use it as a client bridge / media bridge. That's much less hassle, than debugging the USB stack on an ancient OS, that may not be nearly bug-free to begin with.
