Trouble getting analog video to computer

I have the hauppage 150MCE. My computer recognizes it and everything seems to work until i get to the screen to capture video. There is no video, just a red screen. I am trying to use windows movie maker. The drivers have been updated and I can't think of anything else to try. And yes, I did push play on the camcorder. Any help would be appreciated.

what kind of video card do you have? did you try to update that to the latest drivers? i seen a problem like this but it was when some videos were played in media player from a website, the screen was green but there was audio. the problem was video acceleration, i would first update the video card (not the new tv tuner card's) drivers and if that doesnt work, tune hardware acceleration (in dislay properties-settings-advanced-troubleshoot) down one step at a time toward none to see if that fixes it.
