I just got the Moto v600 w. T-Mobile. When I try to buy a ringtone, on the phone it says that the GPRS Network is not available. Does this mean I don't have internet on the phone so I can't download the tone? Can I download anyone ringtones? Thanks

DOn't even bother buying them. That thing has bluetooth, just edit down an mp3 and send it over. The best part is, it's free.

GPRS network not available is usually a sign that the phone is not configured properly for GPRS on that carrier. Is your v600 unlocked by any chance? Can you access t-zones? If you can't even connect to T-zones, you can call T-Mobile customer service and have them send you the GPRS settings for T-mobile. They'll send it a SMS to your phone and it will automatically configure the network settings for T-Mobile. I actually work at the company that does T-Mobile's ringtones so let me know if you need any other help.

If your Mac has bluetooth, then yes. You need to pair the devices and copy the file to the phone.

I'm sure I could find it out, but since you seem to know, how do I pair the devices? I've never used bluetooth on my powerbook before. Thanks

i don't know if my ibm has bluetooth - but i think not. I just got the motorola razr....trying to figure out how to add ringtones (without having to pay for it, of course!). My friend gave me a bluetooth headset to use - it's so awesome!

so now, i want to know what i need in order to make my laptop bluetooth ready and then how exactly do i set it up so that the razr can receive the midi file.

but first, i should ask how do i convert mp3 to a midi file?

thanks!
