Trouble Connecting to Server

I'm on Ubuntu and having trouble connecting to a server that has the following form:

\\Mystuff.brown.edu

It should mount as a hardrive but it isn't. Can anybody help?

What command are you trying?

I'm guessing that's a CIFS share?

I don't think you need the \\, that's a Windowsism.
