Judging by some of the responses to our coverage of Tropico 3, some citizens don't recall the first games in the series. Well, here's your chance to get acquainted with El Presidente, Pirates and the whole management sim, with Kalypso Media bunching up (banana joke!) Tropico, Tropico: Paradise Island and Tropico 2: Pirate Cove for one low price. Dubbed Tropico Reloaded, it'll cost you $10.

The retail bundle has already "shipped," so it may very well have sailed into stores already. The boxed set is also available on Steam for $15. Wait ... retail is the better deal? That's not something we're used to.

Just a few weeks ago reinstalled my copy of the "Mucho Macho edition" which is the original + Paradise Island.

I hope 3 is good.

tropico 2 was so fun. tropico 1 was okay, but i like the pirate theme better. and you couldn't rotate buildings in tropico 1.

tropico 2 almost had all the right elements, i just wish they would give you more control over sea battles, ala sid meier's pirates!-

I had fun playing the first one.
Never bothered w. the sequels.

I remember difficulty developing tourism on that game..

Steam charges more than at least Amazon for a great many things. I have no idea what general retail stores sell things for, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same or less than Steam. People should be used to this.
