Tropical Storm Berry - Update from Panama City!

I'm about 10 miles away from the eye of the storm, and the wind is getting worse. It went from about a steady 15-20mph wind to 50-60mph. It's not as bad as I thought. I went outside a couple of times, and it was a little hard to keep foot. It's been raining all day, and my backyard is flooded, and the street is flooded too. The water's not to close to my house, so I think it'll be fine. It's really neet, and I think it's cool. I was just in Panama city yesterday for vacation. I wish we could have stayed a little longer so I could experience the storm.

This is my first big storm since I've lived here, so I am excited it's here. Next challenge - A REAL HURRICANE!

I just saw on the news that it would be a hurricane within a matter of hours.

they've been saying that since 8 this morning........ but it still hasn't become one. I hope it does soon
