IF it's a real threat, there is a victim. Death and rape threats shouldn't be dismissed. They really should never be dismissed if they include detailed personal information like has been reported in this case. I'm not a fan of going so public with it as it only fuels the fire of a lot of idiots.

If the threat is "real" then murder and/or attempted murder will actually occur. Since it hasn't occurred, I think it's safe to say the threats aren't real.

I didn't say they should be dismissed. Rebroadcasting them, though, is idiotic and just encourages more threats. The idiot should call the police if she feels like she is in danger, and GTFO the internet.

The rebroadcast is telling- if she was actually afraid, she wouldn't be engaging her "abuser".
 
I love that this internet drama has become dragged on and somehow a news story on secondary media outlets.
