Administration pulls troops out of Baghdad. Speculation is that Bush wants to reduce casualties in an election year. This should certainly stabilize things if true...

Or maybe it is just because troops are no longer needed in Baghdad as there is now an effective police force. This is not a total pullout. There were some 600 "bases", that is being reduced to 30-40.

It seems no matter what is done with the troop levels and placing, there will always be someone with something to complain about.

I completely agree! Those ungrateful Iraqi's on tv are always complaining about Americans being there, its as if they they didn't want us there in the first place!

Seeing as how the press only puts the negative slant on ANYTHING that GWB does... that doesn't surprise me. There are many people in IRAQ who want us there, just ask ANY service man. Yeah you have some that want us out but it is far from a majority.

You know what the most ridiculous statement is on that website?

"The Power and Interest News Report (PINR) is an analysis-based publication that seeks to, as objectively as possible, provide insight into various conflicts, regions and points of interest around the globe. PINR approaches a subject based upon the powers and interests involved, leaving the moral judgments to the reader."

What a joke.

The Shiites ask us not to have a major presence during their religious celebrations and the insurgents wreak havoc and those Wags blame us! Yeah these assholes are worth the American lives lost and the billions of dollars that we are pouring in to help them become free in spite of the fact that they didn't have the balls to fight for their own freedom:disgust:

This isn't about Iraqi's freedom, this is about the Neocons agenda for Pax Americana. Bush is totally behind this crap as he loaded his cabinet with those cockroaches who control our foriegn policy.

The ones that are doing the most complaining are blowing up their fellow iraqis police offers right now. This seems llike a great way for the insurgents to win the hearts and minds of the their fellow iraqis.
