no, but seriously, who fishes via trolling?? It's got the be the most boring way of fishing! By pure luck you get a fish on a single line or maybe more. For me, I'd rather be around structure, by a dropoff, weeds, etc. not running around at 5 hp around a lake just sitting there. only be good if you didn't plan to fish in the first place and just graba beer with the guys.
does this look fun?!<-- do this for 5 hours and you get the point. booooring
 
trolling.... fishing. cast a line overboard.. turn on little motor... run around the lake for 4-10 hours without doing any work...
 
i went fishing yesterday - did some trolling on Lake St. Clair. We would have rather been on Erie but the south wind might have made it a little too choppy for our liking. we got skunked though. 🙁

it may seem like a boring way to fish, but it's the only way i know how to nail walleye / pickerel. perch we can just drift for with spreaders & minnows, but there aren't many perch running where we were.

it was nice to get out and enjoy the day. and if my home course weren't being used for a tourney today, i'd be out golfing. it is absolutely AMAZING out right now.
